When I was planning this comics I realised that it will probably take a decade to finish. I think it will. But now we are one year in and I am as motivated as I was at the beginning!
Couple of facts that blew my mind this year:
- The first page of the comics was shown over 10,000 times with almost 40 likes! How cool is that! (And it’s not all me, I promise.)
- Every page of the first chapter was viewed more than 200 times! For the webcomics that just exists in a small corner of the Internet that something that surprises me every day. I do have a full time job, so I don’t have time to draw a comic and do a social media. I had to pick one and you know what I chose.
- Someone actually added my comics to The Belfry WebComics Index. Thank you so much!
- I did 50 pages and 2 covers! And except for one week and a scheduled break between chapters I managed to publish consistently. Go me!
And here’s the list of things I’m planning to add/update this year:
- Timeline. This takes much longer than I expected but when you have time travel in your comics where people exist multiple times at the same time (it is confusing, I know, check page 7 to learn more), standard plugins for timelines do not work. Also, for now there shouldn’t be a lot of questions where we are (and other characters) in the timeline, so first version will be probably added closer to the third chapter.
- Characters. We’ve met some new people in the second chapter that we will see once in a while, so now I have a reason to start Supporting cast part on this page.
- Separate main page. No one complained when I asked if that’s ok to do it, so I’m doing it. Now new readers won’t be spoiled immediately (even though the summary is a spoiler already).
- Blog. Well, you are reading this post, so it’s here. The thing is I want to share a lot of stuff from behind the scenes, so I created a place for me to do it.
- Right side widgets. Graphics was updated and extra navigation added for new readers.
I hope you will continue with journey with me ’cause I have a lot of things planned ahead!
And as usual don’t forget to vote for ‘Deadly Incidents’ on TopWebComics!
I replaced this image in widget area, so let me keep it here for history.
